Creating Memorable Characters:  Joëlle Anthony teaches you how to create quick characters to get you writing, examines the character clichés that permeate books, and  explains how to avoid them. Learn to make even the smallest character in your fiction well-rounded and memorable.

Short Fiction “Friendly” Workshop! Our Keynote Presentation will be given by Kevin Chong. This year, “It’s All About the Story”: Panelists Robert Bringhurst, Annabel Lyon, Mark Leiren0Young, and others TBA will answer the questions like:  How do you see storytelling from your genre? Do you think some writers have it easier than others? Is it easier to weave a fictional tale than to tell one that really happened? Moderated by Brad Frenette of the CBC.
